NSPRI Reveals Plans to Educate Farmers on Seedlings' Storage

The Nigerian Stored Products Research Institute, NSPRI has revealed plans to educate farmers and agricultural extension agents on the importance of seedlings' storage and preservation. Executive Director of NSPRI, Professor Lateef Sanni made this known in an interview with Pensioners FM.

Professor Sanni, urged farmers and investors to key into technologies that would enhance agricultural activities, as part of efforts to increase food production in the country. Professor Sanni, who is also a Professor of Food Science and Technology, said NSPRI is also working towards the delivery of effective technologies in mitigating post harvest losses of all crop categories in Nigeria.

The Nigerian Stored Products Research Institute, NSPRI is an institute that carries out research into bulk storage problems of export commodities and local food crops.
