SAA proposed partnership with NSPRI
Dr. Godwin Aster, Country Director of Sasakawa Africa Association, together with his associate,Momoko Higa, Program Officer of Sasakawa, paid a visit to Prof Lateef Oladimeji Sanni, the Executive Director of NSPRI on the 21st of May, 2024.
During their meeting, they discussed a potential collaboration focused on reducing postharvest grain losses. The proposed partnership aims to utilize NSPRI's hermetic steel drums for grain storage. These drums are designed to preserve grain quality and prevent losses due to pests, moisture, and other factors.
The collaboration is expected to enhance grain storage solutions, improve food security, and support agricultural sustainability efforts within the region.
