2024 World Trade Day
The program was organised by the "Institute of International Trade and Development (IITD), University of Port Harcourt". The theme of this year's program is: Leverage on SMEs to Grow Trade and Investment in Nigeria.
The Executive Director, Prof Lateef Sanni was the Guest Speaker at the event and he was represented by the Zonal Coordinator, NSPRI Port-Harcourt, Mrs Inana Mandu. She presented a paper titled: Leveraging small and medium enterprise to grow trade and investment in Nigeria: the role of NSPRI as a Post harvest champion. She illuminated the audience about areas where NSPRI have contributed to SME growth and some of our technologies that can improve their productivity. She informed them that our offices (the Headquarters, Zonal stations and outstations) are opened to provide solutions and supports on post harvest challenges.
The Director, IITD, University of Port Harcourt, Prof. Ijeoma, E. Kalu appreciated the wonderful presentation by Mrs Inana and he also extended his greeting to the ED, NSPRI.
